Uploading Media Through FTP
To upload media through FTP you must first set your FTP password. You can do this from the Account tab on your My Account page.
Once set the page will display your FTP connection details that you will need to use with your FTP client.
Then, make sure you have a suitable FTP client installed - if you do not have one, we suggest something like FileZilla.
Once you have installed the FTP client, open it, and enter the following information:
Host: ftp.nzstockfootage.co.nz
Username: (your FTP username is displayed on the Account tab of your My Account page)
Password: (the password you just set)
Port: 21
Connect to the Server.
When you see the message "Status: Directory listing successful" you will know you have signed on successfully.
You can now start uploading, by dragging items from your desktop to the "Remote Site" window.
*Please notify us via email that you have clips uploading via FTP. info@nzstockfootage.co.nz
After your upload completes it may take several hours before your upload appears on your Uploads page.
We will send you an email once the upload is available. You will then need to edit the clip and set a title, description, keywords and assign some categories. You can then submit the clip for approval.
